Winter Tidbits

1. I've discovered this year that I'm very particular in what hot chocolate I like. Nothing seems to taste so good as Land O'Lakes. My favorites are Chocolate Supreme and Chocolate Graham.

2. I love marshmallows in hot chocolate. Which is interesting b/c I haven't had them in hot chocolate in years, until this year. I just randomly craved it. (note the picture of my 'K' mug in the previous post. marshmallows to the brim.)

3. I love looking through "old" photos. It's hard to believe on New Year's Day 2010 I got to experience this beauty.
4. I think I wore myself out on projects/knitting right before Christmas. While I've looked at projects I want to do, I just don't have much desire to pick it up again. Yet.

5. I really want to make this, but don't want to buy all the yarn for it.

6. I really want to go see The King's Speech. Partly b/c it's about a King of England. Partly b/c it's starring Colin Firth who is a favorite actor of mine b/c of this mini-series.7. I should make something out of this cookbook. (David gave it to me for Christmas!) I'm particularly interested in one of the many scone recipes in the back... naturally.

8. It's currently a snowy, sunny, 8 degrees, feels like -5 degree day (and the office is closed!)

9. Well, I thought this might be a 10-point list, but I can't think of anything else. Oh well. :)

EDIT: 10. Last weekend I watched Inception for the first time. I wasn't sure how I'd like it, only b/c I got really tired of everyone talking about it on Facebook when it first came out. But even though my heart was racing through most of it, I loved it.

1. I should try those hot chocolates. I've never been much of a fan.

2. But when I have enjoyed hot chocolate, it's always had marshmallows!

3. I love looking through old photos too. That snowfall is gorgeous!!!

4. Still amazed by your Christmas gifts... you are a pro.

5. That's awesome. And totally you.

6. Hehe. I think I remember your favorite scene was him in the green jacket. No idea why I remember that but I giggled when I thought about it.

7. Mmm... Scones.

8. Enjoy your snow day!

9. I love your blog posts.

1.I used to be very accurate measuring the liquid portion but now I have found when using those hot chocolate mixes, you can double the amount of liquid and not affect the flavor that much.I have had more hot chocolate this year than any previous year.
You will have to guess who I am. : )

I just watched Inception for the first time the other night. I hate endings like that. I had tell myself that he wasn't dreaming. But I LOVE Leonardo DiCaprio!
