A New Apartment & A Painting Project

On Memorial Day we moved to our new town/new apartment. We love our new apartment - more space, different layout, and washer/dryer. I really could have just said washer/dryer and that's reason enough. :) Before we even moved I had kind of an idea of how I wanted to decorate the walls.

Which brings me to an empty space:


On the floor, as you can see, are many more frames/photos I haven't used yet, but this wall is directly across from the gallery. So it seemed a little much to add more frames. Then, my friend Sarah suggested doing a painting. I'm not really much of a painter. Drawer, yes. I would definitely say I can draw. But then I got inspired - thanks to pinterest - by this print. And so the painting project began.
